ROBERT L. CROWELL is a shareholder in the Firm. Bob earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Hastings College of the Law. Bob has been practicing law with the Firm since 1973 in a wide variety of civil matters, with particular emphasis on government relations, administrative law, legislative affairs, transportation, public utilities and insurance law. Additionally, Bob currently serving as Mayor of Carson City (an elected part-time position). Bob is a past president of the State Bar of Nevada having served on its Board of Governors for seven years. Bob is past president of the five member Nevada Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board; past chairman and member of the Colorado River Commission (a gubernatorial appointment, the agency oversees Nevada's share of water and power from the Colorado River); and past president of the Carson City School Board of Trustee (an elected position). Bob has been recognized for over ten years as a top lawyer in the field of energy law by Best Lawyers in America®. A Vietnam veteran, Bob is a retired Captain in the Naval Reserve.
MARK FIORENTINO is a shareholder in the Firm. Mark earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Drake University. Mark resides in Connecticut and leads the Firm’s practice in federal regulatory and legislative matters. He practices before the state legislature on a wide variety of issues including energy, water, taxation, gaming, zoning, licensing and general business matters. JENNIFER LAZOVICH is a shareholder in the Firm. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southwestern University. Jennifer primarily practices at the legislative and local level. At the legislative level, she has represented clients with interests in development, property rights, lien matters, redevelopment and transportation issues. At the local level, she handles land use and entitlement matters, development agreements and other business matters. Jennifer has been recognized by Best Lawyers of America® in Government Relations Law in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Nevada Business Magazine named her as one of the top 100 attorneys in Southern Nevada in 2009 and 2010.
ERIN RUSSELL is the director of legislative affairs. Erin received a dual bachelors degree from the University of Nevada-Reno, masters degree from George Washington University, and doctorate degree in public affairs from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. She is experienced with advocating at the state legislature on behalf of clients’ interests related to a wide variety of issues that include but are not limited to healthcare, insurance, transportation and development. Erin has published research analyzing the workload of state legislatures out of session. She has been recognized as a “40 under 40” in In Business Las Vegas (2011); “Future Leader” in the Las Vegas Review-Journal (2010); “Rising Star” in the Las Vegas Business Press (2009); and received the Legislative Staff Award from the National Conference of State Legislatures (2005).
