MITCH GRAVO is the owner and only principal in the firm. Mitch attended Ohio State University as an undergraduate before attending the University of San Diego School of Law. He came to Alaska in 1977, served briefly as an intern with the Municipality of Anchorage and then clerked a year for Superior Court Judge J. Justin Ripley. After his clerkship with Judge Ripley, he went back to work for the Municipality of Anchorage, where he first served as the executive assistant to the Municipal Manager and then as the first lobbyist for the Mayor and Municipality of Anchorage. Mitch has been rated one of "the top lobbyists in the state" by Alaska's major daily newspaper, The Anchorage Daily News.
