WILLIAM W. SNEED is a shareholder of the firm. Mr. Sneed has been practicing law since his admittance to the bar in 1980. His specific areas of expertise are lobbying, governmental relations, legislative affairs and workers' compensation and insurance law. Prior to going into private practice, Mr. Sneed served as chief counsel for the Kansas Insurance Department, and since entering the private practice has represented numerous clients in the regulatory arena, including his work on the acquisition of Farmers Insurance Group by B.A.T. Industries. Mr. Sneed has represented clients' interests before the Kansas Legislature, the United States Congress and numerous state and federal administrative bodies. In addition, he has been advisor to several state and federal campaign committees. Mr. Sneed is a member and past director of the Federation of Regulatory Counsel and served as General Counsel to the Kansas Turnpike Authority from 1988-1992. He is also a member of the Topeka, Kansas and American Bar Associations and the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel. Mr. Sneed earned a B.B.A. from Washburn University of Topeka in 1977 and J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 1980.

TERESA SITTENAUER, formerly Chief Clerk for the Kansas Court of Appeals Chief Justice, brings tremendous research and writing skills to the firm. Ms. Sittenauer continues to develop new clients with a growing expertise in federal block grants and the preparation of RFP's in Kansas.
