JODY VANDERVEEN is a Government Relations Professional with Dykema's Government Policy Department in Lansing, Michigan. As such, she lobbies before the Michigan Legislature, Michigan regulatory agencies, and the Executive Office on behalf of clients. Prior to joining Dykema, she was a partner in a multi-client lobbying firm representing diverse interests including health care, manufacturing, state contract procurement and local government. Prior to entering the lobbying practice, Jody served as legislative aide and Chief of Staff for Michigan State Senator Michael J. O'Brien. She is a founding member of the Lansing Chapter of the Women's Economic Club, and a member of the Haven House Board of Directors. Jody earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois.
