JOHN LYELL has been practicing law since 1975 in a wide variety of civil matters with particular emphasis on legislative advocacy and administrative law. In addition to the widespread recognition of his expertise in representing members of the legislature before the Tennessee Registry of Election Finance, he was appointed by the Lt. Governor as a member of the Appellate Court Nominating Commission which recommends persons as appellate judges.
