H. BENSON DENDY III served on the senior staffs of Governors Charles S. Robb and Gerald L. Baliles from 1982 to 1989, holding positions including Secretary to the Cabinet, Secretary of the Commonwealth and Special Assistant to the Governor. For seven legislative sessions, he had responsibility for lobbying the Governor's bills in the General Assembly. Dendy has served as President of Vectre since 1989 and has been engaged in lobbying on behalf of corporate clients since that time.
